So this weekend was like the opening everything weekend, or something. Friday night was a BLAST! Friday night was the opening social for the institute and it was on the football field. They had a BBQ and then a BIG water balloon fight boys vs. girls, that was fun. The guys decided to attack the girls and pretty much rushed us and got the coolers full of water, that all the balloons were in, and poured them over us, I managed to somehow end up in the middle of one of the groups of girls that got the water poured on. Then after that there was a party at a house where some guys live. There were a ton of people, all the dancing was inside and it was very muggy in there. It was a lot of fun though. Me and Brit met up with Heather Palmer and LoraLyn and Matt and then we all left and went to sonic, then we all got in the back of Heather's truck and LoraLyn drove and we went out to the desert and looked at the stars. It was a pretty fun night. I got to bed at 3 and went to work at 8. Then saturday night was the opening social for EAC. They had a dance, and that was fun too. The pics I am putting up are of us 3 girls before the dance. The yearbook pictures were taken that night also, so we all wore leis in our pictures. I had a few guy problems with this guy that wouldn't leave me alone at the dance. I am glad my roommates love me and are pretty much my body guards when he is around now haha. Just too bad that some guys don't take hints right? I still had a fun time at the dance though. Sunday I went to church at 9, got home closer to 1 cuz Jadyn got set apart and we stayed for that. Then when we got home I cooked dinner. I made us all chicken fettucine alfredo and a salad and some peas. Then we all ate, and took a nap. Then at 4:30 we went to sing at the nursing home again, that is always a good time. It is fun to meet new people, and it's also awesome to know that we make so many people's days better. We take hymn books and just sing hymns to them either in their rooms, or out in the hall and they all come out and listen to us. It is such a great feeling when we go and do that. At 6 we went to the Stake Presidents fireside just for the women in the Thatcher stake. There were so many people there, I didn't know Thatcher had that many people, let alone women! Haha just kidding. Then at 7 was a YSA fireside at the institute building. Mark Mabry, the man that took the pictures for the Reflections of Christ, gave the fireside. He brought a couple of the pictures with him, and we watched the video of the photoshoots, and the slideshow, and he gave an amazing talk. Everybody really loved it. After that we went to Shawn's house and played games. I was finally able to change out of my church clothes at about 10:30 or 11 last night. Today I didn't go to class this morning, I was getting ready for class and Tristan asked me if I could take him to the Dr so he could get a cast on his leg. Poor guy can't drive and his roommates were at class already, so I did it. He broke his foot playing glow in the dark football a couple fridays ago and treated it as a sprained ankle and walked on it for 5 days before he realized he needed xrays and found out it was broken! I went to everything else today though, and now I am tired as heck. I think That is good enough for now, I am gonna go and get some sleep so I can go work out in the morning. Love you all :)
