Cruise and Feelers

Sorry it has been awhile since I updated this thing, life has been busy. Well, the night of the 11th my dad and brother came to Thatcher and we packed up the truck and off we were back to Mesa. I don't like to talk about it, I miss Thatcher and all my friends there and my roommates. They were the best roomies I could have asked for, and we sure had a lot of fun memories that I won't forget. I have a feeling I will be visiting Thatcher a lot this upcoming semester, which means I need a JOB! The saturday after I moved home, I went on a cruise to Mexico with the parentals and Ty and Jenny and Brooke. We had a lot of fun going to shows and shopping in Mexico and relaxing and just getting away from the rest of the world. We didn't have our phones, it was just us and the ocean. I got sick on the cruise though, and didn't know what it was. My throat hurt so bad I could hardly eat most of the trip and especially at the end I couldn't eat. When I got back I couldn't even swallow water, so I went to urgent care and found out I had bad strep. They put me on steroids for 5days and an antibiotic too, so I am startin to be a little more back to normal. As far as school goes... I don't want to talk about it. Pretty much I am not going to be done as quick as I want to be and I can't take the classes I need to take this semester. At the beginning of the year I am going to try and get a job with Scottsdale Healthcare working at one of their hospitals as a CNA and hoping to be trained as a PCT making more money and not having to do all the crap a CNA does. They will also pay the rest of my schooling, and they have good benefits, so I hope that works out. I think that is it for now...Merry Christmas :)

Quick Update

I have been busy this week getting ready for finals, I have finals monday and tuesday and then I will be done, and heading home on wednesday! Saturday after I get back to Mesa I am flying to Cali early in the morning and goin on a cruise to Mexico. We are goin to Cabo and Ensanada, and the timing of this cruise couldn't be more perfect I tell ya! I am so sick of school and stressed with trying to get everything done and get my application ready to send in for the State Board of Nursing so I can take the test to get my CNA license. Today the school has a "study reliever" thing with blow up stuff and different fun things, and I think my brain has had enough for today, so I am going to that right now. I hope everything is going well at home and with all of you. I love you all!

Indecisive?

So...it really isn't official. I haven't had a good feeling about moving back to Mesa since I decided to make the move, and I REALLY don't want to move back to Mesa just yet, so I am doing all I can right now to NOT move away from Thatcher this semester. I just did my resume, and I am going to get it around up there. I also might get a job as a CNA at the Nursing Home in Safford, they mentioned it today at my last clinical. They would hire me and I have 120 days to take the state board exam and get my license, then my pay would go up $3/hour. We will see what happens...if I don't have a job before Christmas break then I will not be returning to Thatcher next semester. I hope you are all doing well :)

Sad, Sad Day

I dropped my 20 credit hours from EAC today for next semester, and registered for a couple classes at MCC. There are some classes at MCC that I need that are already full, so I will try to get into those the first week of school when people drop. I am going to miss EA and my friends here. I'm going back to Mesa where I don't have many friends anymore, and it is going to be wierd. I will be back to EA eventually for the nursing program, but my friends won't be here. Anyways, just wanted to update you on the recent news. Have a great day.

Change of Plans?

So I went to work yesterday, and the shop had completely closed down. It is not reopening. We had no notice, and now we are all out of jobs. So the latest is that I MIGHT be back in Mesa next semester. If any of you know Thatcher, you know it isn't the easiest thing to find a job here. So if I don't have a job by Christmas break, then I am going to Mesa for break and not returning to Thatcher :( I looked up available classes at MCC yesterday, and the Red Mountain campus had some classes available that I need. I am going to look at SCC and CGCC too and see what I can come up with. Anyways, hope all is well with you all :)

Wowzers

Im just gettin ready to leave for work but thought I would stop and write real quick. Next semester I am registered for 20 credit hours, and not gonna lie, I'm kinda scared for it! I am taking math, anat and phys, microbiology, nutrition, wellness, and pharmacology. Nutrition and pharmacology are Co Reqs for nursing, and I am going to get them out of the way so that when I am in the nursing program all I have to worry about is nursing, no other classes. I am also going to be working in that time. Mondays I will be in class from 10am-7:20pm, with a break for almost an hour at noon. I am not a big fan of school, and growing up told myself I wasn't gonna do the college thing. But here I am, and I can't wait to be done. The fall semester will be my last semester of pre and co reqs, I'm going to do that semester at MCC, then we will see where my life takes me...either to more school, or on a mission. OH!!!! It has been FREAKING cold lately! Last night I about froze to death and told my roommates I had hypothermia haha. We can't use the heater in our house yet cuz our land lady hasn't had someone put the damper in yet, and it's COLD. This morning I woke up and couldn't even function I was so cold. I had lab at 7, and when I walked outside I could see my breathe, a lot, and then I was putting my makeup on in my car and I pulled my visor down and the mirror fogged up! How am I gonna handle this cold? I'm only used to Mesa :( Anyways, I hope you all are doing well. I miss Mesa and all of you. Love you all, have a great day :)

Update

I guess I should update you all since I haven't posted anything recently. Where to start....well I came home from work last friday night and I was talkin to a couple of my roomies and I was complaining that I wasn't gonna be able to see HSM3, then Jadyn informed me that it IS playing in Thatcher :) so I talked Britt into going with me to see it that night. It was really cheesy, but it was High School Musical, so of course I liked it. I didn't get to bed very early that night, but still managed to make it to clinicals saturday morning. Yes, I started clinicals at the nursing home on saturday. It was busy and interesting and I had a couple exciting experiences, but I somehow survived haha. I will be spending my next 4 saturdays doing clinicals. I am in my 2nd week of working every night, and I am so sick of it. My job sucks and I want a new one really bad. Between work and school and clinicals and a church calling, I have kept busy and stressed. I work everyday of the week so I can have sundays off, and I truly look forward to sunday every week. It is my only day to relax and not think about work or school. I don't do homework that day either, it is MY day. Oh, I got a bike. My dad and brother picked it out for me, and it is pink! I about died when I saw it, but it's growing on me. It kinda looks like a beach cruiser but it's not. Well I have some homework to do and some working out to do, so I hope you all have a great weekend. Love you all! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Crazy/Tiring Saturdays

So the last couple saturdays have been crazy! I have had lab for the CNA class on saturdays from 8-about 3 and then I went into work a little bit. Then of course it's saturday night, so I gotta go out! And then I have worked on sunday since I couldn't get all my hours in on saturday. Now I start clinicals on saturdays from 7am-5pm at the nursing home this month too. It is gonna get a little crazy. But anyways, nothing new is goin on really. I am just stayin busy with work and school and Dr's appointments in Mesa. I hope everything is going great for all of you! Here are just a couple pics of me after I got home last saturday from lab. The first one was caught in the middle of a yawn. I took a quick nap after this picture was taken :)

Bad Few Weeks Finally Turned Ok

So the last few weeks have been kinda rough and have kinda sucked, and I learned a lesson today. This weekend I was kinda worried all weekend and couldn't get some stuff off my mind, and it was really bothering me that it was getting me down. So yesterday I fasted for myself that I could have the strength and courage to have faith that it would all be ok. Then I left it in the Lords hands. I had to work yesterday, I have NEVER worked on a sunday, and it was kinda hard for me to do. I did not want to go in at all and I was exhausted from saturday and everything. I went in to work for a few hours and couldn't handle all the noise in there and all the people that I didn't want to be around on sunday, so I left. I went to the fireside last night and even though I had a lot of homework to do I resisted and thought to myself "it is sunday, I'm not giving in." So I didn't. Well I woke up and went to class this morning and thought to myself, "great I have a test on wednesday in here and I have a TON of hw to do before then" and I got kinda stressed out when I felt the load on me. The teacher comes in and says "the exam is supposed to be on wednesday but since I haven't covered all of the material in both chapters I am moving the test to friday." So now I have all week to do my homework for that class instead of just today and tomorrow. Coincidence? You decide. But I don't think it is. Then a girl asked if he could make the test a take home test and he said "no but what I am going to do is, whoever gets a low grade, I will hand it back and let you correct your answers and then grade it again." That made me feel so much better. I felt a huge load removed. Then I went home still hesitant to call the Dr and realized that I had to do it and then something happened and made me feel SO much better about this, so I did it. So I guess the lesson I learned is that when you put faith in the Lord and leave things in His hands, you WILL be blessed and it WILL work out.

Another thing that helped yesterday is I got a calling. We have relief society first and Sacrament meeting last, and after r.s me and Holly and Brittany got pulled outside by a member of the Bishopric and he called all 3 of us to be on the activities committee. We got sustained in Sacrament meeting and then set apart after church. In my blessing when I got set apart he said "the Lord loves you Elyse. He knows what your going through." That stuck with me all day. That kid doesn't know me from Adam, he had no Idea what I was going through or that I was goin through a rough time at all. That was a testimony builder for me. Well I have a test in 30 mins so I gotta go, and I am pretty sure I have talked ya'lls ears off, so have a great day!

Doubts and Decisions

So the past few weeks I have really started doubting nursing, wondering if it really is for me. I have always wanted to get into nursing, but is there something else that is more for me? I don't know! It is really starting to drive me crazy, I think about it all the time. I have been thinking about a lot of different options I have after this school year is over. I have thought about going to Utah for school, goin back to Mesa, stayin here in Thatcher, even maybe tryin a semester in Canada. I have pretty much decided that I am going to get my pre reqs done and maybe even my co reqs done for nursing, and then go on a mission. Instead of finishing the nursing program and THEN going on a mission. Then maybe when I get home from my mission I will know more what I want to do as far as schooling goes. I am still debatin decisions here though, so we will see I guess.
Well nothing much has changed other than I absolutely HATE chemistry and my teacher is a foolio and he isn't a very good teacher, and I'm not the only one having trouble in that class. I start lab for my CNA class tomorrow, from 8-5. I will have that for 2 saturdays, then on the 25th of this month I start clinicals and those will be from 7-5 on saturdays. Which means while I have lab and clinicals i will be working on sundays, instead of saturdays. I never have a day to sleep in or have a day to myself now, not even sundays. It really stinks. I will definitely be glad when this semester is over and I get to relax on a cruise! I hope all is well with all of you! Have a great weekend!

9-11-01 Video

This Video is about 9-11, and it is very touching. It brought tears to my eyes, and I'm sure it will to you too. Here is a special tribute to those who lost their lives that day, and to those who lost their loved ones, just copy and paste the address into the address bar.

Ouch

So I pretty much look like I have been beaten up! I was playin racquet ball with Heather and Brandon and Brit last night and I was running full speed for the ball and so was Brittany. So Brandon moved to get out of her way and didn't know I was coming up behind him, so I turned to miss him and his leg came up and my toe hit his heel and I went a flyin! I like flew and landed on my hand and rolled and popped right up. It all happened within seconds, it was crazy. We all thought it was funny how I just rolled and popped up. (I think it's from playing softball). I thought I broke my hand at first, but I continued to play as much as I could and finished the game, then I played left handed a little bit and then I was done. My pinky I think is broken, and it hurts from my thumb to my wrist, but I'm alright! I have a few bruises on my leg too, and some scrapes. Brandon felt really bad, poor guy. Anyways, this weekend I am going to be doing homework all weekend and studying all weekend for the 2 exams that I have on monday, so don't expect an entry about my weekend on monday! Have a great weekend that I won't be having!

My Weekend

So saturday my nephew turned 1 and had his first birthday party, and I had to miss it :( HAPPY BIRTHDAY LANDON!! I was kinda bummed all day at work thinking "everyone is at Landon's party right now, and I'm sittin here on the phone." Well I got off work at 2 and then a big group of us got in our swim suits and 5 or 6 truck loads of us headed to Frye Mesa. It's a dam up this mountain and you can repell down the dam or jump off the wall into the lake part of it, or cliff jump, or hike, or just swim. It was a ton of fun! We were all havin too much fun to take pictures though, so sorry I don't have any to put up. They also had a bonfire after it started gettin dark, but me and some others left. When we were comin down the mountain I got a call from my friend Will saying that he and Lyda were in town for a reception. Well I got to meet up with them and hang out for awhile after they were done at the reception. It was awesome to see them again. I cut the bottom of my toe right in the crease and also on the side at Frye Mesa, so that hurts, but other than that I'm great! Hope all is well with you all!

Labor Day Weekend

So saturday after work I drove down to Mesa for the weekend and I went to the opening ASU football game with my brothers and my cousin. The game was pretty sweet, ASU kicked some Lumberjack butt. Sunday I got to see Taryn and the boys and I got to meet Isaac for the first time! It was so nice to see them, I haven't seen Taryn and Brigham since the end of my senior year of high school. Today I got the quads out and rode them around the backyard and around the neighborhood a little bit. It was fun. Then I did some homework and a test for chem, and went to my brother's new house for a BBQ with the family. I am gonna go to the preschool I used to work at and surprise everyone tomorrow and see some of my old kids, then I am headed back to Thatcher so I can finish some homework and go to work :) I am doin great, and I hope everyone else is also :)

The Opening Everything Weekend

So this weekend was like the opening everything weekend, or something. Friday night was a BLAST! Friday night was the opening social for the institute and it was on the football field. They had a BBQ and then a BIG water balloon fight boys vs. girls, that was fun. The guys decided to attack the girls and pretty much rushed us and got the coolers full of water, that all the balloons were in, and poured them over us, I managed to somehow end up in the middle of one of the groups of girls that got the water poured on. Then after that there was a party at a house where some guys live. There were a ton of people, all the dancing was inside and it was very muggy in there. It was a lot of fun though. Me and Brit met up with Heather Palmer and LoraLyn and Matt and then we all left and went to sonic, then we all got in the back of Heather's truck and LoraLyn drove and we went out to the desert and looked at the stars. It was a pretty fun night. I got to bed at 3 and went to work at 8. Then saturday night was the opening social for EAC. They had a dance, and that was fun too. The pics I am putting up are of us 3 girls before the dance. The yearbook pictures were taken that night also, so we all wore leis in our pictures. I had a few guy problems with this guy that wouldn't leave me alone at the dance. I am glad my roommates love me and are pretty much my body guards when he is around now haha. Just too bad that some guys don't take hints right? I still had a fun time at the dance though. Sunday I went to church at 9, got home closer to 1 cuz Jadyn got set apart and we stayed for that. Then when we got home I cooked dinner. I made us all chicken fettucine alfredo and a salad and some peas. Then we all ate, and took a nap. Then at 4:30 we went to sing at the nursing home again, that is always a good time. It is fun to meet new people, and it's also awesome to know that we make so many people's days better. We take hymn books and just sing hymns to them either in their rooms, or out in the hall and they all come out and listen to us. It is such a great feeling when we go and do that. At 6 we went to the Stake Presidents fireside just for the women in the Thatcher stake. There were so many people there, I didn't know Thatcher had that many people, let alone women! Haha just kidding. Then at 7 was a YSA fireside at the institute building. Mark Mabry, the man that took the pictures for the Reflections of Christ, gave the fireside. He brought a couple of the pictures with him, and we watched the video of the photoshoots, and the slideshow, and he gave an amazing talk. Everybody really loved it. After that we went to Shawn's house and played games. I was finally able to change out of my church clothes at about 10:30 or 11 last night. Today I didn't go to class this morning, I was getting ready for class and Tristan asked me if I could take him to the Dr so he could get a cast on his leg. Poor guy can't drive and his roommates were at class already, so I did it. He broke his foot playing glow in the dark football a couple fridays ago and treated it as a sprained ankle and walked on it for 5 days before he realized he needed xrays and found out it was broken! I went to everything else today though, and now I am tired as heck. I think That is good enough for now, I am gonna go and get some sleep so I can go work out in the morning. Love you all :)

I Survived!

Well I did it...I survived my first week of school! It was a week of waking up earlier than I want to, not spending as much time with friends as I wanted to, studying more than I wanted to, working out almost everyday, spending more time in the library than I thought I could handle...and I LOVED IT! I am absolutely loving it here, even with school in session. I loving waking up and being productive and getting things done. For the first time in my life, I am actually enjoying going to class. I never thought I would say that! Well I am going to get back to my chemistry homework and then go home and do laundry and clean and then go to work, then to party! I just thought I would let everyone know that I did successfully make it through the week :) Have a great weekend!

The Fun Has Begun

So today is Wednesday, and school started Monday! Joy right? It hasn't been a bad week, but the stress hasn't completely started yet. Monday I woke up and walked to school and made it to my first class that started at 9. When I was done with class I walked home and ate, put some dinner in the crockpot, and finished some stuff I needed to finish. Then I went back to class til 5:50, and walked home, ate dinner, and went to FHE. For dinner that night I made some chicken that was really good, my roommates thought so too. Holly loved it. I put some chicken with natures seasoning and garlic powder on it, then I mixed up some cream of mushroom soup, low fat cream cheese, a little bit of milk to make it more creamy, and some jalepenos and jalepeno juice. Then I poured it over the chicken and cooked it all day. It was really good, and I had leftovers for the next day! Tuesday I didn't have class, but I still had stuff to do, and work. I woke up and went to Devotional at the institute building at 11, then had an institute class right after that til 1, then I washed my car, and ate lunch, and went to work at 2. I got off work and went to play racquet ball and run, then came home and did the dishes. The dishes freakin took me 2 and a half hours to do!! It was absolutely RIDICULOUS!! I definitely won't be doing them next time. But we have a plan now with the dishes, so they won't get as bad. They really didn't look bad, I am still tryin to figure out how it took me so long. Oh well right? So then when I was done I had dinner with Holly and went to bed. I had class this morning, bought my chemistry book that just got in yesterday, got gas, ate breakfast, and now I'm here! Im setting up my wireless internet access in the media center, and it is taking forever, kinda annoying. I will have class today til 5:50, then I go to work at 6, and won't get home til 9. So I'm gonna try to get some homework done in here while I wait. Oh, it just finished! I hope everything is great back at home, and I hope you all are doing awesome. Pictures will be up soon hopefully. Love you all :)

Bonfires and Mud and fun!

WOW...so I am back in Thatcher now, after spending a little over a week in the valley to spend time with family before school starts. Last night me and 2 of my rommmates got all ready and left close to 11 and went to a bonfire. Well we finally get to the turn off and we are on our way and we get into some mud, and even though I wasn't going fast, my car fish-tailed a little and we got stuck in the mud. Well a few people came and we put rocks under my tire and backed it up and my car was out! So then Brandon came and got us in his truck and drove us back to the fire with him. The fire was fun, we lit off a bunch of fire crackers and I met some new people. I got to know Heather Palmer a little bit, its nice to know I'm not the only Westwood Warrior here in Thatcher!! So then we went home to grab some change, so I could spray my car off cuz it was pretty muddy, then we went to spray it off. We also ended up going to Wally World and it was like 2 am, and I did a little grocery shopping while I was there. We had a fun time. That is pretty much all that has happened lately. I start school on Monday, then I am gonna be pretty dang busy. Infact, I gotta head out right now and go buy all my books. So you all have a great day!!

Fergie the Frog

My roommate woke up in the morning to a phone call from her sister, and she looked over and saw this frog in our bedroom!!!! She freaked out and Holly came in and thought it was dead so she went to grab it and it jumped so Holly being the girl she is freaked out! Jadyn had to catch it and take it outside and let it go. Too bad I missed this dang it! I was in the valley for the weekend...oh well I guess, it still made me laugh really hard! I just hope it doesn't find its way back to our bedroom!

I Called It

My Brother, Ryan, got Cubs vs. Diamondbacks tickets given to him, and I talked him into letting me go with him, so I drove home from Thatcher Tuesday night after work, and tonight was the game. I have been telling all my guy friends in Thatcher (who are big Dbacks fans) that the Cubs would beat the Dbacks the night I am there. Well, they did! Cubbies won 10-6, it was an AWESOME game. I almost felt like I was in Chicago again with all the Cubs fans that were there. I am convinced that there were more Cubs fans than Dbacks fans. I swear that the Cubs have the most loyal fans in all of sports. I loved being at the game, it was so much fun! 7th inning stretch came along and everybody was singing Take Me Out To The Ballgame, and when it came up on the jumbo tron to say the "Diamondbacks," you could hear "Cubbies" over everyone, it was great! I do like the Dbacks, but when the Cubs are in town, I just gotta pull for em. It was fun that we were all wearing our Chicago shirts except Camilla and Kayden, they didn't have any. Kayden wore Cubs colors though, so I guess that counts!

Scared Sleepless

So a few nights ago me and Brittany and Tristan and Robert watched a movie, and then the guys left about 1:30. Well me and Brit decided that we wanted to do the dishes and get the house clean before we went to bed so we could sleep in longer. So we are standing in the kitchen doing dishes talking, and we both heard noises outside by our front door, but both ignored it. Then it didn't go away, and we heard it moving around to different parts of the house...we got scared. I thought maybe the guys were pullin a prank on us, so I sent Tristan a text and said "if that is you guys, job well done, we are scared." He quickly responded asking what I was talking about, and then he called asking what was going on, and I told him, and I could hear the TV in the background so I knew it wasn't them. He asked if I wanted him and Robert to come over, but I said no. Well me and Brit ended up freaked out and woke up one of our roommates, Holly, and she didn't care and went back to bed. So then we ended up huddled in a corner, and the next thing we knew, Tristan and Robert were at our door. They went around the house and made sure nothing was there, then they left. So we felt better and continued to finish the dishes. We got done and I was sweeping the floor when we heard it again, really loud, and since we can't see out our kitchen window at night, but you can see in, I really freaked out and gave up and went to bed. Brittany's bed is by the window and while she was laying there I said "Zoe, you still awake?" She was still awake, and I was a jerk and said "good thing my head isn't right next to that window!" She didn't think that was too funny, she was already staring at the window. I told her I couldn't even see the window from my bed, and then I told her it was too bad we didn't have a big bed. She agreed, but ended up in my bed anyways!! We both fell asleep quick, and never even woke up til 9 that morning. We left our church music on when we fell asleep, so when Holly woke up for work she heard it and came in our room and started laughing and took pictures of us sleeping without us even knowing it!! We still laugh about it, I can't see how she was so comfortable and stayed there all night. Anyways, I just thought that was a funny story to tell :) Have a great day!

First Road Trip With My Roommates

The old roommate, Lynnette, has received her mission call to Edmonton Alberta Canada, so me and my roommates went to hear her farewell talk. It was a lot of fun, even though we had to leave so early sunday morning. We left the house here in Thatcher at 7:15 am and drove to St. Johns, we didn't get home til after 9 that night. She gave a really good talk on the Atonement, and then after church her mother made a really nice dinner for everyone, so we had dinner there, then drove home. The weather was awesome!! It rained and it got pretty chilly too. It is so nice to not have to deal with the heat in the valley! Even the weather in Thatcher has been great. I am still loving it here, and still havin a good time!

Flew The Coop!

Well Saturday I packed up my car and my Dad's truck, and headed off to college! I am now in Thatcher, renting a house with 3 other girls. Boy have we had a good time so far! When I got here, we unpacked and then my parents took me grocery shopping and hooked me up with food, then we said our goodbyes. That was the wierdest thing I have EVER experienced in my life! I am still trying to get used to the fact that I am now on my own. It is fun to be on your own, but immediately I started feelin the stresses. I laid on my bed before my roommates got home from work and just thought to myself "wow, this is wierd. I have to really budget, I have rent to pay!" I had orientation and training at Western Wats on Monday, and started on Tuesday. I am still getting used to the whole calling thing, but I am sure I will get used to it soon. Sunday night was really wierd. I started to miss my family that night, I wouldn't call it homesick, but I sure do miss everyone, and especially my awesome niece and nephews. I look forward to getting some pictures of them in the mail!!! (Deena and Jenny, Camilla already has so you should jump on that too!!) I am doing great, and having a good time so far, and still missing everyone at home, even though I'm only a few hours away. The ward here is awesome. Church was great on Sunday. Monday night I went to FHE and had a fun time, and last night I went to enrichment. I have been meeting new people and havin fun with it! Institute here is different than in Mesa. In the summer there is institute mon-friday from 12-1, and there aren't very many people there. In Mesa we usually fill 2 rooms, but I haven't seen one room get filled yet here in Thatcher. Well, I don't have internet in my house, so I have to come to the media center here on campus to use it, but I will keep this updated the best I can. Sorry I don't have any pictures yet of Thatcher, but I will get some as soon as I can :)

My New Best Friend

My brother was at work and one of his co-workers is a dog lover and she mentioned a 6 month old english springer that she saw at the pound, and wanted Tyler to adopt it. Well tuesday they picked him up and he is staying at my parents house until Tyler sells his other dog. Me and Chance have become quite the friends! I must say that I am his favorite, and we have fun playing together. He loves when I rub his ears. He got shaved and groomed yesterday, and so I decided to let him chill in my room while I finish up my packing, and this is a picture of it. He is such a good dog, and I am SO attatched!! I'm gonna miss my new best friend Chance :(

Baby Isaac

I rushed home from Thatcher a couple of weekends ago to make one of my best friends baby shower. Well little did we know that 3 days later her little man was going to be born! This picture is (left to right) Bre, Christy, Me at the shower. Isaac Michael Aguilar is very cute, and I am happy for Christy and Isaac (daddy).

This is me and Baby Isaac at the hospital the day he was born. I was trying to get him to open his eyes in this picture, but he was just too stubborn! Me and Bre tried for the longest time, and we finally got to see his eyes.

Desert Fun

This is an older picture of me, but it is one of the memories that I have had with my family that I will never forget. We went to Four Peaks on New Years Day in 2007, before all the babies were born, and we had a BLAST! We took hot dogs and some other food in an ice chest and we built a fire. We had fun roasting our hot dogs and sitting around the fire waiting for our next turn on the quads. We love riding the quads, it is one of my favorite things to do! When the kids get just a little older we will be back in our spot at Four Peaks!!
