Kick-Off

So it has been a long time since I have updated this, and everyone keeps telling me how horrible I am at keeping it updated, so here is the kick-off to 2010 in hopes that I will be better about it this year! So lets see, where to start...

In June I went to Canada to visit my family there and for my cousins wedding. I had an awesome time! That was probably the funnest trip to Canada I have had in a long time. We went to the Calgary Zoo one day, which by the way is the by far the best zoo I have ever been to, and yes I have been to the San Diego Zoo. We stayed the night in Calgary that night and then we went to Spruce Meadows the next day on our way back to Lethbridge and Taber. Spruce Meadows was just as amazing as it was last time I was there! Other than Disneyland, I have found that is the happiest place on earth...for me anyways. We were in Canada for a week, and I was not ready to fly home :( Hopefully a trip to Canada will be in my plans sometime soon! The rest of the summer consisted of small things like going to the lake and parties. I did wake surfing for the first time over the summer, and it was a blast! I came home from the lake looking not much different than a lobster, but I still had a ton of fun! In July I started watching my niece and nephew 2 days a week so that my sister in law could go back to work, I have loved spending the days I am not at school with Brooke and Brody.

I started school again in August. I took Reading, Math online, Communications, and Biology... boy was I kept busy! That was probably THE busiest semester I have had yet! Every saturday, and some fridays, ALLLLL day for 12 weeks I was at the computer doing math... I have decided to never do an online class again. Biology was a challenge. I had a teacher from Asia and he wasn't the easiest to understand, and he told on the first day that where he is from you don't get A's. He was a very hard teacher! He didn't offer any extra credit, no homework assignments, and his tests were very difficult. The second test we took, the highest score was a C and he wouldn't curve it. If I didn't pass that class with a C then I wouldn't be able to take the classes next semester than I have been registered for since October... I have never been so grateful for a C!

October was fun. We had our Canadian Thanksgiving like we do every year. I started the HCG diet also in October. It worked good, I lost 21 lbs in 23 days.

My cousin Shaylee has been in Texas going to school for Dental Hygiene for the past year and a half, and since she is graduating in May we decided to make a girls trip to see her in November. My mom and her 2 sister and my 2 cousins and I all flew to San Antonio to see Shaylee. We had a lot of fun in Texas! We saw the Alamo and did some major shopping and saw the Riverwalk. We stayed in the coolest hotel I have ever stayed at! We stayed at the historic Wyndham and it was really cool to see the pictures up on the wall of the Prince's and Princess's that used to stay there back in the day. We also went to Beeville where Shaylee is going to school and saw her place, and went to Corpus Christi and saw the beach. I hope to get back to San Antonio someday :)

Christmas was GREAT! I must have been a good girl in 2009 cuz Santa was really good to me this year! I got a new digital camera, an ipod, and the cutest coach purse that you ever did see! I picked out the purse when we were in Texas, and I have been DYING to open it haha. I don't go anywhere without that purse, I am very attached :) We had a good Christmas as a family, it is always nice to spend time with family.

New years eve was fun. I went to a friend's going away party and then went to Polar Ice for the annual YSA party there. Ice skating is always fun :) I started taking the HCG drops again on Jan 1st, what better way to start off the new year than to lose weight right?! Haha. I am glad I was good during the Holiday season and managed to not gain more than a couple lbs, now I can lose actual weight and not just Holiday weight :) I start school again on the 19th, and it will be another busy semester, YAY!!
